I found the hotel to be conveniently located near Yamagata Station, perfect for a quick stopover before heading to or from Zao. The rooms were fairly large for one person, very spacious, and impeccably clean, although they could be a bit bigger to accommodate multiple bags without moving furniture. The service from the staff of Japan was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
